Our #KIPPsters from John F. Kennedy High School, Frederick A. Douglass High School and Booker T. Washington High School met with representatives from Grambling State University to learn more about the university during an information session. Scholars were offered an opportunity to audition for the band and hear motivational words from JFK’s very own alum Tyrin Batiste who now attends Grambling, as well as Grambling State University’s President Rick Gallot and Dr. Nikole Roebuck, Director of Bands.
